Sluss Construction put on a new Trex deck for me, replacing a 30 yrs. old wooden deck. Patrick Sluss and his crew built a very professional and attractive deck for me. He, also, put in deck lighting, a timer for the deck lights and outside electrical outlets around the deck.
Patrick later put on all new outside doors for me and had to enlarge a garage man door opening to put in a new door there. He built new doors for my shed and put down paver bricks at the entrance to the shed, garage man door, and two entrances onto the deck. Patrick, also put up all new outside lights for me around my house.
Patrick, also, did a major plumbing job for my Mom’s house.

I am writing this for all of you out there who are seeking someone to help with your remodeling, additions etc. When we first decided we wanted to finsih a portion of our basement the question was, who do we get to do it? We were pretty new to the area and didn’t know many people or businesses. I received a few recommendations and had quotes. Needless to say I was not real happy with either. I don’t know about you, but not only did I want the quote to be at a reasonable price I wanted that person who was going to spend a great deal of time at my home to be a respectable, polite and knowledgeable individual. I did not get all my requirement until I called Patrick Sluss, from Sluss Construction. He was recommended to me by someone who has seen his work. I felt that my quote was fair, but to be honest at the time I was more impressed with his personality, business, and work ethic. We hired Patrick to come do the basement, and it turned out fantastic. When he first started I was home but as life’s daily demands take over you can’t always be there. I was very comfortable giving them a key to come and go as they needed. He was extremely trustworthy. He was neat, clean and never was there any evidence elsewhere in my home that work was being done downstairs. The outcome was exactly what I wanted, 100% satisfied. My husband and I hired Patrick last winter to start a two part remodel on our existing home. Patrick came recommended as he also has done work at my husband’s dealership in Green, Ohio. Patrick provided detailed estimates to us before we moved forward with the construction. We took our family on a ski trip out west while Patrick and his crew remodeled half our our home. The contractors he hires are hard workers, often working past midnight in order to get the work done before we returned home. The second part of our construction started in late summer and was more involved as we gutted the entire kitchen and master bathroom. Patrick was excellent at starting the job when he said he would. He kept us informed about the process and anything that needed to be tweaked or changed and helped us in making decisions based on our family needs. Patrick did an excellent job with everything, the kitchen turned out beautiful! He’s very meticulous and pays close attention to detail and was very helpful at suggesting things we might have otherwise missed. He’s punctual and if he ever had a change of plans, he always let me know ahead of time. His estimates were very accurate as were his time frame of when the work would be completed. He did his best to work around the arrival of the cabinets, appliances, and even called the cabinet people for us when they dropped the ball on a couple things. We felt comfortable knowing we were in good hands. We were very pleased with the work done, how it was completed, the attention to detail, and Patrick’s positive and friendly demeanor. It certainly made a complete home remodel a good experience and we highly recommend Sluss Construction.”
